Frederik has spent nearly two decades in the hotel industry predominantly in the sales and marketing arena. His responsibilities for the Richfield hotel portfolio include maximizing revenue opportunities through all channels and driving the individual property exposure and positioning directly to the individual market places. Frederik works with the hotels to create new strategies and initiatives in all market segments to maximize their return on investments.
Before joining Richfield Hospitality Inc, Frederik held several positions as Director of Sales & Marketing representing Hilton Hotels Corporation, Intercontinental Hotels Group as well as independent hotels. He has gained experience in resort, suburban, airport and city center locations. He has an operational and sales background within the full and limited service hotels. He has taught Meeting and Convention Services part time for several years in the Chicago area. He holds a four year degree in Hotel Management which he earned in Brazil. He began his hotel career with Sheraton Hotels in Brazil as an operations trainee. He was born in Germany and is fluent in several languages.
